This actor and voice actor best known for his roles in the Matrix and Lord of the Rings trilogies was born in Ibadan, Nigeria in 1960. His parents then moved to Australia, the UK, and South Africa, before returning to Australia where they settled.

Djimon Hounsou

Best known for films such as Blood Diamond, Amistad and Gladiator, this actor, model, dancer and film producer was born in Cotonou, Benin, West Africa in 1964. He emigrated to France when he was 12.
