Anele Mdoda Drags Phat Joe over Miss SA Comments
Television personality, Anele Mdoda, is gunning for Phat Joe, after he made some shady comments about her on his morning radio show.
Mdoda was recently named as one of the judges for this year’s Miss South Africa pageant, which takes place this Friday, 9 August.
She will be joined by the likes of actress Connie Ferguson and former Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Pieters.
Speaking on his “Radio 2000” show segment this morning, Wednesday 7 August, Phat Joe implied that Mdoda’s appointment was the result of “affirmative action”.
Mdoda fired back at Phat Joe on Twitter: “Phat Joe is so obsessed with me. Like a dog barking at cars that won’t ever stop. He should concentrate on being at a radio gig longer than 5 min [sic].”
Calling him a “washout”, she added: “I have judged Miss SA [sic] for 4 [sic] years now and picked a damn Miss World [Rolene Strauss]. My beauty has nothing to do with whether I can see beauty or not.”
Phat Joe responded to her: “Shout-out to [Mdoda] and the other women … we will see who is washed out on Friday.”
