Ayra Starr Shines with Coldplay as Messi Watches On

Nigerian songstress Ayra Starr stunned fans after making a surprise appearance with Coldplay during their “Music of the Spheres” world tour at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

On Saturday, 26 July, Chris Martin hailed the 21-year-old Afrobeats star while introducing her to fans by saying: “This is Ayra Starr from Nigeria. She is going to be the world’s biggest pop star so soon.”

The Mavin Records singer joined the English rock band on stage to perform their upbeat collaboration “Good Feelings”, as well as her latest single, ‘Hot Body’.

The crowd also erupted when football legend Lionel Messi and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, were shown on the stadium’s big screen.

Sharing her excitement afterwards, Ayra posted on Instagram: “I just performed “Hot Body” on stage with Coldplay!! And Messi was in the audience.”

Her guest spot marked another milestone in her rapidly growing international career, further establishing her as one of Afrobeats’ leading voices. Coldplay’s tour has become known for surprise appearances and genre-blending performances, and Ayra’s Afro-fusion style added a vibrant twist to the Miami show.

With her global profile soaring, Ayra Starr’s electrifying set alongside Coldplay is yet another sign that her stardom is only just beginning.
