Babalwa Mneno Caught Breaking Lockdown Rules

Model Babalwa Mneno has been slammed for flouting coronavirus lockdown rules.

South Africa is currently in the midst of Level 3 lockdown, during which the public are supposed to continue adhering to social distancing while the pandemic is ongoing.

In a recent video she uploaded to her Instagram Stories, the 42-year-old beauty is seen dancing and posing while attending a house party at an undisclosed location over the weekend. Plenty of unmasked guests and liquor are seen in the background.

Mneno’s video made its way to Twitter, which ruffled many tweeps’ feathers.

One user wrote: “Infections will increase, death rate too [sic]. Public and private health will not cope. Health sector about [sic] to be overwhelmed. Babalwa Mneno will be the first one to speak ill of Ramaphosa & [sic] the government.”

Actress Amanda du-Pont – who was also spotted in the video – also received backlash, with another user commenting: “Amanda doesn’t surprise me cause [sic] she was even flying to Europe during early days on covid in SA [sic].”

Mneno has not yet publicly commented on the situation.
