Babes Wodumo Denies Mocking Lady Zamar
Gqom star, Babes Wodumo, has denied any wrongdoing after a video of her allegedly mocking the skin condition of fellow musician, Lady Zamar, recently emerged on social media.
In the video, a zoomed-in clip of Lady Zamar as a guest judge on “Idols SA” is seen playing on a television set.
In the background, a voice – allegedly belonging to Wodumo – is heard making profane remarks about the singer’s acne and calling her derogatory names.
Slammed by angry users, a tweet appeared on Wodumo’s official Twitter account, in which she showed no remorse for the video.
The tweet reads: “I said what I said, and I don’t care if you guys hate me or not I’m proud [sic]. I meant what I said, hence why the video is everywhere so that you guys can see!”
However, taking to Instagram on Thursday, 15 August, Wodumo claimed that someone had hacked her Twitter account, leaked the video and posted the controversial tweet.
She said: “I’m not the one posting on Twitter, it’s not me … I don’t know what’s going on, guys, but I’m trying to solve this.”
