Black Coffee Spills Beans About Divorce

DJ Black Coffee has opened up about his impending divorce from Enhle Mbali.

The 43-year-old record producer – real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo – issued a statement on Tuesday, 12 November, in response to his wife, 31-year-old actress Enhle Mbali, confirming that she had filed for divorce.

He shared on Twitter: “After much deliberation since the story of our relationship broke in public, I wish to state that we have been trying to sort out problems amicably and in private for almost a year now and it has been the most heart breaking and challenging period [sic].”

He continued: “As much as there’s two sides to every story I will not discuss our private life in public, let alone speak ill of my partner or my in-laws … This is now a court matter, we ask for privacy [sic].”

He did not respond to any of Mbali’s recent allegations of abuse at the hands of his mother and sister, or to previous allegations of his infidelity.

The pair have two children together, and Black Coffee has another two from a previous relationship.
