Burna Boy Slated to Perform at 2024 Grammy Awards

Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has been selected to perform at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony alongside Luke Combs and Travis Scott.

The organisation shared the news via Twitter on Monday, 22 January, sparking excitement amongst Burna Boy’s fans. The three icons will be taking to the stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on 4 February with several other stars, who are yet to be announced.

All three of the musicians have each been nominated for their own awards in the glitzy ceremony. Burna Boy has earned himself a total of four nods including in the“Best Melodic Rap Performance” for his “Sittin’ on Top of the World” hit single featuring 21 Savage.

Travis Scott’s “Utopia” album – which was released in July 2023 and features well-known artists like Drake, Playboi Carti and 21 Savage — earned its own nod in the “Best Rap Album” category.

Finally, Luke Combs’s cover of Tracey Chapman’s legendary song, “Fast Car”, will be up for the “Best Country Solo Performance” award. The single — which was originally released in 1988 – became one of the most popular songs in 2023.
