Davido and Chioma’s $3.7m Miami Wedding Stuns Fans

Afrobeats superstar Davido tied the knot over the weekend with his long-time partner, Chioma Rowland-Adeleke, in a lavish white wedding in Miami, Florida.

The star-studded event capped off a three-part celebration that began with a court ceremony in March 2023 and a traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.

Nigerian elites such as Aliko Dangote, Obi Cubana, and Governors Ademola Adeleke and Alex Otti, were in attendance, alongside music heavyweights Kirk Franklin, Adekunle Gold, Zlatan, Teni, D’banj and Joeboy.

The 32-year-old musician’s first outfit carried a poignant detail: cufflinks engraved with a photo of their late son, Ifeanyi.

The emotional event saw the couple exchange heartfelt vows.

“You are my love, my peace, my home,” Davido told Chioma, while she declared: “You’re my love, you’re my best friend, you’re my calm in my storm.”

During the reception, Davido presented his bride with a iced-out Richard Mille watch worth $300 000.

The Miami festivities, which reportedly cost $3.7 million, were preceded by a “Havana Night”-themed party with performances from Zlatan, Adekunle Gold and B-Red, ensuring the couple’s love story was celebrated in true superstar style.
