Davido’s Ibiza Getaway Turns Chaotic After Club Incident

What began as a luxury holiday in Ibiza quickly took a dark turn for Nigerian music star Davido.

The award-winning singer – who is currently enjoying a break on the Spanish island with his manager Asa Asika and close friend Cubana Chief Priest – was involved in a confrontation at the popular nightclub, Hi Ibiza, on Saturday evening, 21 June.

In the early hours of the following day, Davido took to his Instagram Stories to accuse the club’s security team of launching a violent attack on him and his entourage. “@Hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!!! All of yall goin down!!![sic]” he wrote, alongside a photo showing visibly aggressive bouncers.

Though the exact details remain unclear, the 32-year-old musician has vowed that the matter won’t go unaddressed. Before the altercation, he had been sharing cheerful moments from his trip, suggesting the incident was entirely unexpected.

Fans have expressed concern across social media, with many calling for a full investigation into the alleged incident. Meanwhile, the club’s management has yet to release an official statement.
