Dr Malinga: DJ Maphorisa Must Apologise for Gun Threat

Dr Malinga, whose real name is Goodwill Malinga, has given Themba “DJ Maphorisa” Sekowe an ultimatum to apologise for threatening him or to face jail time.

A few months ago, Dr. Malinga caused a stir on social media when he invited the Amapiano producer to a celebrity boxing ring – leaving fans wondering if there is any beef between them.

On Monday, 27 September, Maphorisa took to Facebook to warn the Via Orlando hitmaker, saying that the artist should make it clear as to whether he hates or loves him – so that they can either bury the hatchet or take it to the streets.

Maphorisa said: “Even you Malinga stop watching my show [live]. You have to be ***** straight with me. It’s either you hate me or you love me. It’s either we fix this thing, we just be nice people from Pretoria or just leave us alone.”

He added: “When we bump into each other let it pop off once, I [could] take guns and leave with my security. You must fix this thing of yours. I don’t know why you ***** hate me or you hate my success.”

In his response on Twitter, Dr Malinga sounded shocked by these threats, and that he doesn’t understand where the feud came from since he has not said anything bad against Maphorisa.

He further asked for Maphorisa’s apology or else he’ll open a police case against him.
