Fans Bash Zodwa Wabantu’s Online Flirting

Many fans are unimpressed after Zodwa Wabantu tried to shoot her shot at an up-and-coming actor on Instagram.

It’s no secret that the 34-year-old entertainer has enjoyed relationships with younger men in the past. She was previously dating a 23-year-old entrepreneur, and was engaged to a 24-year-old banker prior to that.

On Tuesday, 21 July, Ntobeko Sishi – a 21-year-old actor known for playing Ntokozo on the television series, “Gomora” – uploaded a photo of himself to his Instagram account.

Underneath the photo – in which Sishi is seen wearing a black-and-white ensemble – Wabantu wrote in isiZulu: “Eishh [sic], I can’t help it anymore. Please inbox me.”

As a result, many social media users blasted Wabantu for her comment, with one user tweeting: “I honestly don’t find this #Zodwa [sic] thing funny. It’s quite creepy. If it was a man doing it, the comments would be different.”

Other users chimed in to defend Wabantu, saying that all her relationships had been consensual.

As for Wabantu herself, she seemed unfazed by all the buzz, as she merely gloated on Instagram about topping Twitter’s trending list.
