Halala Umtshato Lo! Khune Off the Market

Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, has decided to make his model girlfriend, Sphelele Makhunga, a Mrs Khune.

Khune made his relationship with Makhunga official on social media at the beginning of the year – following rumours that he and ex-girlfriend, Sbahle Mpisane had split, due to amnesia she suffered from a near-fatal car accident.
The soon-to-be Mrs Khune posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a South African traditional ‘Makoti’ attire with the caption “16.11.2019. Thank you Khune” and added a ring and two cow emojis.

The goalkeeper couldn’t help but respond to the post, referring to her as “My wifey bear”.

Oh wait! Did he accidentally reveal a pregnancy? Khune later posted another picture of their ceremony on Instagram, in which he could be seen holding Makhunga’s stomach.

However, the image was removed from his Instagram account shortly afterwards – but fans had already started circulating it on Twitter – leading to speculations that they are about to be parents.
