Impending Black Coffee Interview Gets Tongues Wagging

Grammy-award-winning music producer Black Coffee has sent Twitter into a spin after he announced that he was “ready to come and chill” with presenters MacG and Sol Phenduka for an exclusive interview.

The deejay’s tweet – which went live on Friday, 14 January – has since been met with mixed responses, as some tweeps can’t wait to hear what he has to say in regards to the recent scandal with his ex-wife, actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa.

Mlotshwa has been accused of sleeping with a married man and attempting to start a polygamous relationship with him and his wife.

One Twitter user named “Aphiwe” replied to Black Coffee the following day, saying: “I can’t wait for this episode, my man is about to drop some sgaxa [gossip] and I’m here for it. He’s kept quiet for too long. It’s time to speak out!”

However, other users are less supportive.

On Sunday, 15 January, Ana Fourie tweeted: “Black Coffee could have used ANY OTHER platform to tell his story.

“He has the resources to do it on his own socials but he’s going to THAT podcast because he knows the audience and he knows the hosts will make sure to structure the “interview” to attack and discredit Mlotshwa further.”
