Jacob Zuma and Fiance, 25, Split Up

Former president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, and his young fiance, Nonkanyiso Conco, have reportedly gone their separate ways.

The 78-year-old politician and the 25-year-old first met in 2013 at a Zulu reed dance in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal – the latter had been 19-years-old. Together, they share a two-year-old son.

However, sources close to the couple claim that they broke up last December, and that Conco had moved out from the home that Zuma was renting for her at Zimbali’s Hilltop Private Estate in Ballito, Durban.

According to Conco’s estranged father, Fartescue Conco, his daughter is now living with her mother in the Eastern Cape.

He said: “I know that [Conco] does not stay in Ballito anymore. I wish she would come back home if Zuma is no longer able to maintain her.”

Additionally, Conco has wiped her Instagram account clean of photos featuring her former fiancee.

It’s unknown why the couple have broken up, although Conco seemingly alluded to Zuma’s alleged absence in their son’s life via an Instagram post earlier this year.
