Jub Jub Prays for Mzansi in a New Song, “Ngi Thembe Wena”
TV personality and hip hop artist, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, has released an inspiring song, titled ‘Ngi Thembe Wena’ today, 30 July, and South Africa is loving it.
In the track – a Zulu phrase which translates to “I trust in You, God” – the rapper pours his heart out to his maker, asking for forgiveness.
Besides the soul touching bars, Jub Jub also reveals that he has suffered from depression, caused by Twitter’s hate – which could be related to his illegal drag racing accident in 2010, which left four boys dead, and for which he served prison time.
Judging by his fans’ reactions, it seems like the rapper has outdone himself. South Africa is appreciating the song, which has set Twitter abuzz.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions:
@Cellar_Jnr wrote: “Thanks for giving us a song that has touched our hearts and lifted up our spirits.”
Another user said: “The way @official_jubjub flows on this song is really dope. He just reminded us why we are listening to his music.”
