Katlego Maboe: Nikita Murray Breaks Silence
The woman accused of having an affair with “Expresso” talk show host, Katlego Maboe, says that she had tested negative for a sexually-transmitted disease (STD).
In a video clip that went viral in late October, Maboe’s estranged wife, Monique Muller, alleged that he gave her an STD that has damaged her womb, thus denting her chances of having another child.
After being threatened with never seeing their two-year-old son again, Maboe then admits to cheating on Muller with a woman named Nikita Murray, and that she gave him the STD.
In a statement released on Thursday, 5 November, Vincent Bergh of Liquor Law and Business Consultants – representing Murray and her husband, Matthew – denied these “wild allegations.”
Bergh wrote that Murray “had undergone a medical test to confirm that she has no sexually transmitted disease”, with the results coming back negative.
Bergh added: “The claims by Mr Maboe that Mrs Murray was the cause of him contracting the STD … is therefore irresponsible and impossible … We trust that [the media] will set the record straight and not harass our clients any further.”
