Kganyago Says Zinhle Lied About Wedding Invitation Snub

Media personality, Lerato Kganyago, has given her side of story about her failed friendship with DJ Zinhle, and rubbished the “Umlilo” hitmaker’s claim that she was snubbed from Kganyago’s wedding day.

The two local celebs used to be close friends but drifted apart after Kganyago got hitched back in March 2020.

No one knew why the pair became distant until Thursday, 25 November, when DJ Zinhle spilled the tea about their sour friendship during an interview on Talk with Toke Makinwa.

In her response, the Metro FM presenter felt disappointed and said that Zinhle’s claim left a bitter taste in her mouth as she was telling only the “half-truth”.

Kganyago explained that she sent Zinhle a DM with a wedding invitation, but that her silence in response was viewed as a sign that she was not coming.

She further revealed that it’s probably because she only invited Zinhle from the usual squad of girlfriends – which to public knowledge include Pearl Thusi and Moozlie – as her ​​friendship with the others was a bit shaky at the time.
