Lady Zamar Hits Sjava with Sexual Violation Claim

Lady Zamar has accused her ex-boyfriend, singer Sjava – real name Jabulani Hadebe – of raping her in 2017.

The “Collide” hitmaker – real name Yamikani Baranda – secretly dated Sjava for two years until they broke up last March.

Last November, Lady Zamar not only accused Sjava – who was actually married throughout their relationship – of hiding his marital status, but claimed that he also verbally and sexually abused her.

Per police reports, the songstress alleges that Sjava raped her on 9 September 2017 at the Porche Villa Hotel in Thohoyandou, Limpopo.

The alleged incident took place after their performance at the Royal Heritage festival in nearby Venda.

Limpopo police spokesperson, Motlafela Mojapelo, confirmed that Lady Zamar had opened a case of rape against Sjava at Lyttleton police station in Pretoria, Gauteng, shortly after making her allegations against him.

Mojapelo added that the police have completed their investigations and referred the case to the National Prosecution Authority for a decision on whether to prosecute Sjava, who has yet to comment on this latest accusation.
