Linda Mtoba Launches Youth Foundation
Actress Linda Mtoba is giving back to the community by launching her very own charitable foundation.
Taking to Instagram last Friday, 18 September, the 28-year-old actress announced that she has launched the Linda Mtoba Foundation, which will assist children and young people living in disadvantaged communities.
Sharing an image of the foundation’s logo, she wrote in the caption: “This year has been one of the most challenging years to us all through this I realized [sic] and saw first-hand just how much help is needed. Just how much the next person needs another and just how much our children need us.”
Aiming to “give power to those little voices”, Mtoba added: “I hope many children will feel our foundation is [a] door they can always knock on. We’re here to help.”
“The River” actress is one of many South African media personalities who have recently taken up charitable endeavours: rapper Boity, choreographer Somizi Mhlongo and DJ Black Coffee among others have all launched foundations or raised funds to aid citizens impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
