Lira’s Nine-Year Marriage is Ending

Lira has separated from her husband and manager of nine years, Robin Kohl.

In a statement posted to Instagram on Friday night, 26 July, the “Celebrating Life” songstress revealed that she and Kohl are living separately, and that they are “in the process of deciding the future of [their] marriage.”

She explained: “We have had a long and fruitful marriage and business relationship, and have formed a strong bond that will remain, whatever the outcome of our time apart.”

Lira also asked fans for privacy during this difficult time. Nevertheless, the request did not stop users from sending out positive comments to the former couple.

One fan commented: “Love and strength to you both. Can’t say it’s the best news, but then if you guys have reached this decision, we as your fans can only support you.”

Kohl has yet to comment publicly on the separation.
