Mampintsha’s Mum Lashes Out After “Neglect”

Babes Wodumo, and her husband Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo, have found themselves trending on Twitter, again, after Mampintsha’s mom, Zama Gumede, has claimed that the couple is neglecting her and have stopped supporting her financially.

The tension between Babes and her mother-in-law reportedly got worse after a controversial video of Gumede went viral online, in which she accused Wodumo of faking her pregnancy.

Gumede was furious after not being invited to their wedding and she also blames Wodumo for her troubled relationship with her son.

On Wednesday, 16 June, the Gqom love birds welcomed their new bundle of joy – Mzansi sent congratulation messages – however, Mampintsha’s mother was reportedly left out of the joyful birth.

According to Gumede, Mampintsha didn’t tell her about the birth of her grandson and has also stopped buying food for her.

The heartbroken mom said: “I live in KwaMashu and Mandla lives in Westille, but he no longer comes here to check on me. He stopped buying me groceries because I spoke the truth.”

She added: “I heard Babes gave birth to a son. They didn’t tell me. I heard it from strangers, but if there’s really a son, I hope to see him one day and hold him as he’s my grandson”.
