Minnie Ntuli Faces Petition Calling for Media Exit
A petition demanding the removal of Minentle “Minnie” Ntuli from radio and television has surpassed 55 000 signatures, following explosive scenes on “The Real Housewives of Durban”.
The Gagasi FM presenter has been accused of bullying fellow cast member Londie London during season five of the reality series. Tensions escalated throughout the season, culminating in previously unseen reunion footage where Ntuli jabbed her cast mate in the forehead during a failed peace talk between the two.
This, combined with earlier derogatory remarks, sparked outrage online and prompted the petition.
The 30-year-old media personality has since apologised via a Facebook post: “I am appalled by how I behaved, and I take full accountability.” She has reached out to London and the production team both privately and publicly.
Gagasi FM acknowledged that the incident impacted its brand, and confirmed that Ntuli is undergoing professional support to manage her emotions. The radio station expressed a commitment to reconciliation but announced that Ntuli would temporarily step back from her morning show duties.
London, however, rejected the apology, stating at the reunion: “I want nothing to do with Minnie. I’m going to open a case of assault.”
Public sentiment remains divided, with calls for consequences gaining momentum as the media storm continues.
