Miss Universe Nigeria 2025: 22 Finalists Revealed

The race for the Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 crown is officially underway, as 22 finalists were unveiled to represent states across the country.

The competition, which blends glamour with purpose, will see contestants take part in intensive personal development, advocacy training, and confidence-building drills before the highly anticipated finale later this year.

The eventual winner will succeed Chidimma Adetshina, whose reign has drawn both celebration and controversy. Adetshina, who took the title in 2024 after a difficult withdrawal from Miss South Africa in the same year, has recently clapped back at critics who accused her of being ungrateful.

While reflecting on her journey, she posted on Instagram: “How am I being ungrateful when I’m LITERALLY living in answered prayers! The end of one journey was the beginning of another. [sic]”

As voting opens on the official Miss Universe Nigeria website, excitement is building for a finale that promises to draw major names from entertainment, fashion and business.

With its strong emphasis on advocacy, tackling causes from education to gender equality, this year’s competition aims to crown not just a beauty queen but a change-maker ready to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
