Nyaniso Dzedze Reunited with Detained Wife

Choreographer Nyaniso Dzedze is on top of the world after he was reunited with his wife, who was held in a detention centre.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, South Africa has banned people from travelling to and from high-risk countries, including Germany.

Per reports, Dzedze and his wife, Yana Fay Dzedze, had flown back to South Africa last Tuesday, 24 March, after a trip to Rwanda. However, the latter was detained and placed in a detention centre after it was found that she possessed a German passport.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, 27 March, Dzedze posted a photo of him hugging his wife at OR Tambo International Airport, where they reunited after Yana Fay was released from the detention centre.

In the caption, the choreographer thanked all those who supported him in lobbying for his wife’s release.

He wrote: “There is no length too far, there’s no place I won’t go for this love i [sic] hold for this human I call my Wife [sic].”

Dzedze added: “Stay indoors, keep Quarantined [sic] and let’s all learn, love and grow from these God guided [sic] experiences.”
