Pabi Moloi Arrested for Drunken Driving

Radio personality, Pabi Moloi, shockingly revealed to her Twitter following that she had been arrested for driving under the influence.

In a Twitter post shared on Saturday, 7 March, the apologetic “POWER 98.7” presenter revealed that after consuming alcohol, she decided to drive herself home on Thursday night, 5 March.

She wrote: “I was subsequently arrested for drinking and driving. I will submit myself to the process of the law. I understand the gravity of the potential damage I could have done, and I am so so [sic] sorry.”

So far, the reaction to the 36-year-old presenter’s confession has been incredibly mixed. While some applauded her for taking responsibility for her actions, others believed that she was merely scrambling to do damage control before the media could report it.

Per reports, iIf Moloi is found guilty of drunken driving, she could face six years’ imprisonment or a R120 000 fine, and a criminal record.
