Pregnant Actress Allegedly Assaulted on Women’s Day

“Skeem Saam” actress, Neo Ramitshana, has claimed that she was assaulted by a bouncer at a restaurant in Pretoria last Friday night, 9 August.

Taking to Instagram recently, Ramitshana – who is six-months pregnant – explained that she went to Altitude Bar in the Menlyn suburb for a meal with her sister, Malebo, to celebrate Women’s Day.

In the process of leaving the restaurant, the actress realised that she had forgotten her leftovers and went back to get it.

She wrote: “I am then grabbed by a mountain of a man … Bouncer! Shouting ‘TAG’, I’m like: “I’m just going to fetch my food I’m leaving.” Then I proceed … He then grabs by me by neck , strangling me to pull me so I don’t proceed [sic].”

Ramitshana added that her outfit was ripped open in the scuffle, leaving her exposed.

The management of Altitude Bar have denied Ramitshana’s version of events.

Nevertheless, the police confirmed that it is investigating a case of common assault, with the unidentified bouncer accused of the assault being suspended.
