Prince Benza Arrested In Botswana

Music producer and singer, Benny “Prince Benza” Raolane, was arrested in Botswana prior to his performance at Makhadzi’s One Woman Show over the weekend.

Apparently, Prince Benza breached a performance contract last year December, when he failed to pitch at the Reflector Music Festival after gig payment.

According to the court order making rounds on social media, the muso was ordered to surrender his travelling documents to the deputy sheriff until he settles the contract breach payment.

The 23-year-old producer was detained for questioning and later released for the performance.

It was a dramatic weekend for the music duo, as Makhadzi was also involved in some nasty money drama with the show promoter, Gilbert ‘PP’ wa Pimp, over ticket sale proceeds and show rights.

Gilbert ‘PP’ wa Pimp has threatened to take Open Mic Productions to court as he claims to have been intoxicated before signing the event contract.
