SK Khoza Admits to Spousal Abuse

Sthembiso “SK” Khoza has penned a public apology letter to his fiance, Mandy Hlongwane, for being emotionally abusive towards her.

The “The Queen” star and Hlongwane first announced their plans to wed during an Instagram Live session in December last year.

Everything seemed perfectly cheery during their one-year anniversary in May this year, however things were not as they appeared on the surface.

However, In a lengthy Instagram post on Tuesday night, 27 July, Khoza made his confession before ending it off with an apology.

He admitted that he allowed work to get to him – not to mention bottling up his emotions – to the extent of taking his frustrations on his wife-to-be in an oblivious, aggressive manner.

He said: “Keeping things that break your spirit and hurt you inside is not always a good thing. I have come to realize that I have done so and I ended up not realizing that I was taking it out on [Mandy Hlongwane].”

He added: “Whenever I do talk about what is affecting me I would not address it in a calm manner … I didn’t see that I was hurting her and in a way I was being emotionally abusive towards her … I am working on being a better person and partner.”

Many users flooded to the comment section with support and to applaud Khoza for acknowledging his mistakes and his willingness to change.
