Somizi’s Hacked WhatsApp Drama

Fans of Somizi Mhlongo woke up on Friday morning, 4 March, to the news that their fav’s WhatsApp number had been hacked.

The “Idols SA” judge uploaded an Instagram post on Tuesday, 1 March, announcing that his number may have been compromised as his messages were not working and he was unable to make any phone calls via the app.

Mhlongo also let family and friends know of his predicament while he contacted his network service provider for help.

However, it seems that the situation has not changed as he took to Instagram again this morning to let his fans know in a brief video that he was “still hacked” and that the network claimed the app was not connected to the provider.

Meanwhile, Mhlongo said whoever was behind the crime was “robbing people left, right and centre.”

Since the news first broke, fans have been sharing their sympathies with the actor.

“Eish this is messed up Cuz! I also got messages on WhatsApp this guy requesting R9800 pretending to be you izolo, [sic]” empathised one fan.
