Sophie Lichaba Puts Twitter Trolls on Blast

Actress Sophie Lichaba has had it with cyberbullies who have made disparaging remarks about her appearance.

The 48-year-old “Lockdown” actress has been candid about her health, suffering from obesity before undergoing dramatic weight loss due to the effects of diabetes.

However, Twitter users have viciously attacked Licaba online, claiming that she has been lying about her health. One user claimed that diabetes does not cause people to look the way Lichaba does, while another reckoned she lost weight because of cancer.

Taking to the platform on Wednesday, 15 April, Licaba took her haters to task.

She wrote: “They who comment irresponsibly with lack of exposure or knowledge and talk on my behalf are stupid. You talk of cancer. Have you seen ALL [sic] cancer patients??? [sic] Were you one? Really? have you seen my journey do you know it [sic].”

In a separate tweet, Lichaba remarked: “Without knowledge, the people will perish.”

Powerful words for her haters to take heed of!
