Springboks and Their Families Enjoy Sunny France

September 13, 2023

The Springboks are using their time in France to soak up some sun – when they’re not winning Rugby World Cup matches, of course.

Siya Kolisi and his wife, Rachel, have just moved to Paris with their two children – nine-year-old Nicholas, and six-year-old Keziah – and are documenting their heartwarming adventures together all over Instagram.

Rachel shared an update on the kids’ first week at school; the moment the tight-knit family saw Siya lead the Boks to an 18-3 victory over Scotland on Sunday, 10 September; and plenty of enviable time swimming in pools, and at the beaches.

The happy couple were also able to meet up with Siya’s teammates, Cheslin Kolbe and Wayde van Niekerk, along with their wives for some much-deserved downtime on France’s coastline.

Eben Etzebeth also appeared to be enjoying his time in the European country, as he took to the same social media platform on Tuesday, 12 September, to share pictures of himself and his skipper. The Boks’ captain appeared to be in the middle of a deep conversation, while Etzebeth gazed happily off into the distance with a pair of headphones on.

“Thank you @bowerswilkins for these Noise Cancelling Earphones. Great way to block out any unwanted sounds,” Etzebeth cheekily captioned the post.

Rachel jumped into the fray shortly afterwards, by commenting: “Can you get me a pair too?”
