The Lumineers Announce 2026 South African Tour Dates

American folk rockers, The Lumineers, will return to South Africa in February 2026 for two exclusive shows as part of “The Automatic World Tour”.

The duo will perform in Cape Town at Grand Arena, GrandWest on 4 February, followed by a show at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on 7 February.

Celebrating the release of their fourth studio album, “Automatic”, the band is known for their signature blend of Americana, alternative rock, and storytelling. With chart-topping hits such as “Ho Hey” and “Ophelia,” they have amassed a loyal global following, including 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Despite their established sound, the pair showcase sonic experimentation with their latest offering. Drummer Jeremiah Fraites hinted: “People who think they have our number will be surprised.”

The band – which is also recognised for its philanthropy – supports causes like environmental sustainability and youth mental health.

Tickets for the South African shows go on sale this Friday, 15 August.
