Trevor Noah Expresses Concern For Kanye West

Trevor Noah is not seeing the funny side to Kanye West’s latest antics.

In a mature move, the talk show host addressed the question “Why are you beefing with Ye?” from an audience member during a “Between The Scenes” segment of “The Daily Show” on Saturday, 22 October.

West has previously resorted to calling the 38-year-old Mzansi comedian a racial slur, after Noah spoke about Ye and Kim Kardashian’s relationship during one of the show’s episodes in March.

The 45-year-old “Jesus Walks” rapper was subsequently suspended from Instagram for a short time, only to return and earn another suspension for his anti-Semitic remarks at the beginning of October.

In a video posted to Instagram and TikTok, via the show’s official account on Saturday, Noah responded to the question, saying: “That’s an interesting way to phrase it because a beef has to go both ways … I was never beefing with Kanye West, I was concerned about Kanye West.”

He added: “For me, I think there are elements when Ye knows he is being an a*****e, he has admitted this. He knows when he is pushing the envelope. But I don’t have beef with someone who has expressed that he has a mental health issue.”
