October 07, 2024

Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg was crowned Miss World South Africa 2024 on Saturday, 5 October.

The crowning took place at a star-studded event in Sun City, North West, where the 18-year-old from Pretoria stood out for her poise and dedication to social causes. Zoalize will represent South Africa at the 72nd Miss World pageant in February 2025, aiming to bring home the country’s fourth Miss World honour.

A former digital and marketing executive at Ferrari South Africa, Zoalize stepped down from her role to fully commit to her new title. Her “Beauty with a Purpose” initiative, Never Too Young to Advocate, focuses on empowering youth through education, mental resilience, and self-encouragement.
She hopes to use her platform to inspire young people across the globe to achieve their full potential.

Carol Bouwer, president of the Miss World South Africa Organisation, praised Jansen van Rensburg for her grace, intelligence, and commitment to advocacy.

Bouwer called the driven teenager “more than just a pretty face, but a force to be reckoned with” as her abilities, along with her grace and charm, are awe-inspiring.

Jansen van Rensburg now looks ahead to her international journey, determined to use the Miss World platform as a “vessel for change”.
