Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Kayleigh Schwark, Naked DJ Show Off Dance Moves

With the recent surge in electricity and petrol prices (along with all the noise being made by US President Donald Trump these days), sometimes South Africans just need a little good news or cute TikTok videos to binge on to raise their spirits.

A perfect example is the engagement of footballer and reality star, Kayleigh Schwark: after four years together, her partner, radio personality Quinton “Naked DJ” Masina, finally proposed to her two weeks ago.

Most recently, the newly-engaged “Young, Famous & African” stars posted an adorable video of themselves dancing together on TikTok:

Some peeps over on Twitter/X agreed, happy to see their faves being, well, happy!

However, a petty few reckoned that Naked DJ is just not that into Schwark and was pressured to propose to her (with @MrsMonnica saying that it’s Schwark’s fault that the Metro FM presenter isn’t satisfied):

An even pettier bunch got racial by bringing their skin tones (and Trump) into the mix:

The others compared the couple to Siya and Rachel Kolisi, believing that their upcoming marriage, similar to the Kolisis’, won’t last:

At the end of the day, though, Schwark and Naked DJ seem happy, and no matter what the haters say, it looks like they have a bright future ahead … brighter than Mzansi in loadshedding, at least!
