Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Neema Aloyce Issues “Apology” to Minnie Dlamini

The love lives of celebrities can be crazy and confusing in equal measure, especially when the drama that comes with ‘em plays out on social media.

Last weekend, media personality Minnie Dlamini was publicly accused by Tanzanian businesswoman Neema Aloyce of stealing her man, Doctor Brian Monaisa.

The gist of Aloyce’s claim was that her relationship with Dr Monaisa – the father of her infant son, and with whom she lives – was ruined when Dlamini became involved in his life.

The drama intensified as photos of the former “Our Perfect Wedding” host and the aesthetics practitioner enjoying each other’s company circulated online.

However, on Monday, 20 January, Aloyce seemingly changed her tune when she posted this now-deleted statement on Instagram:

Basically, Aloyce is apologetic about her “outbursts” and is taking full accountability for it. She’s also sorry about the way she behaved towards Dlamini, despite the 34-year-old “Rockville” star being “part and parcel of my betrayal.” She also referred to Dr Monaisa as her “ex-boyfriend”, and mentioned that she endured “countless abuse” from him.

Nevertheless, she wrote, “I acknowledge that I used the wrong words, and I take accountability for it. We all make mistakes. My main focus moving forward is my son, my family, my business and, most importantly, healing.”

All in all, netizens have mixed feelings about Aloyce’s apology, with many folks on Twitter/X wondering if it can even be considered an apology, especially with those backhanded remarks about Dlamini and Dr Monaisa (both of whom have remained silent about the whole situation, BTW):
