Celeb Twitter Round-Up: Tweeps Label DJ Black Coffee’s GF a “Downgrade”

Eish, there’s just no end to the fascination with (and constant hate over) DJ Black Coffee’s love life!

ICYDK, the 46-year-old music producer is currently dating Victoria Gonzalez, a Venezuelan model whom he has been seeing since 2023. Since then, they’ve made cameo appearances in each other’s social media posts and attended high-profile events together.

Most recently, they appeared in this lil’ clip together, courtesy of MDN News:

However, folks on Twitter/X immediately went on the offensive, taking shots at Gonzalez and calling her a “downgrade” from Black Coffee’s previous paramours:

While poking fun at the young model’s looks and accusing her of being a gold-digger, they also pooh-poohed Black Coffee for overlooking “beautiful black women” and not being able to find a partner that can replace/outrank his ex-wife, actress Enhle Mbali:

It’s not the first time that Black Coffee has been hit with “downgrade” comments. In fact, the “Drive” hitmaker lashed out at tweeps with an isiXhosa insult last month, no doubt frustrated by their attempts to undermine his relationship with Gonzalez.

Talk about upliftment! Here’s hoping Black Coffee and Gonzalez see (or have seen) these messages, and will use the positivity to rise above the hate and continue on their path towards happiness.
