Danny K Thanks Fans in Wake of Wife’s Passing

Danny K is grateful for the love and support shown by his fans following the death of his wife, Lisa Koppel.

The 41-year-old attorney – whom Danny K married in 2012 – passed away on 9 August following a three-year battle with colorectal cancer.

On Monday, 17 August, the “Hurts So Bad” hitmaker acknowledged the swell of support that he and his family have received during this incredibly difficult time.

“I want to thank everyone who has reached out with messages of support, prayers and condolences for Lisa,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “There have been more messages than I could possibly respond to individually, but please know how deeply your support has been felt.”

The 48-year-old singer continued: “Our family is shattered. This extraordinary outpouring has carried us and made us feel less alone through this unimaginably difficult chapter.”

Promising to honour Lisa’s legacy by raising awareness about cancer and assisting those impacted by the disease, Danny K signed off the post with a heartfelt message: “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.”
