Former Married at First Sight: Mzansi reality star Nkululeko Mahlangu and his wife, Tshegofatso Moeketsi, have officially announced that they are expecting their first child together. The joyful news arrived on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, just two months after the couple tied the knot in May.

Unlike his television journey, where Mahlangu was matched with someone else on the show before experiencing heartbreak, he did not meet Moeketsi on the competition. Instead, Mahlangu found love after the reality series ended, meeting Moeketsi off-screen and dating her for a year before proposing during their lobola celebration.

Taking to social media, the couple shared clips from a blue-themed baby shower along with a video captured when they first discovered the pregnancy. Reflecting on their milestone, the pair expressed deep appreciation for the outpouring of warmth from their followers and family.

“God has truly been with us every step of this journey, and as we welcome our precious baby into the world, our hearts are filled with nothing but gratitude,” the couple wrote in a joint statement. “Thank you to everyone who has blessed us with your love, prayers, hugs, support, and thoughtful gifts.”

They further added: “Our greatest blessing is on the way… Every heartbeat is a reminder of God’s faithfulness, and we can’t wait to meet the little miracle He’s entrusted to us.”
