Rorisang Thandekiso to Fans: I’m Not Married

False alarm, folks: Rorisang Thandekiso has NOT gotten married.

Last week, images on social media – which show the popular media personality wearing a wedding dress and allegedly tying the knot with a handsome gent at a glamorous venue – went viral on social media.

After apparently being flooded with questions about her relationship status from fans, and even from concerned family members and friends, Thandekiso broke her silence with a video recently uploaded to her Instagram account.

“First, those pictures are from 2017,” she explains in the video. “I was MC’ing a wedding, and the theme around the event … was to dress in a wedding dress.”

She also lifted the lid on the identity of her so-called groom: “My co-host, his name is Beach Body: he’s a comedian and in the advertising space … So no, I’m not married, I’m not getting married. You are blocking my way, because if there was a brother looking at me, now you’ve told [him] I’m married.”

Thandekiso then ended the video with an emphatic plea: “Stop spreading lies, and please report these fake pages that take old pictures and put them out of context. Be careful – we’re living in the age of social media where everyone is chasing clout.”
